Who am I?
I am Lauren, half of the Brian and Lauren duo. This website was originally our wedding blog that Brian has now updated as a place for me to share my thoughts and projects.
Even with the economy as it is, I am fortunate to have a full-time teaching position with Aspire Public Schools. I’m so thankful to be working in my field again, and feel truly blessed!
I’ve always been creative (“crafty” sounds tacky, and I am NOT tacky), with cross-stitch, sewing and scrapbooking, home decor and photography. I’m a believer in gifts that come from the heart, and what better way than to make it. With a fixed income, I’m always looking for ways to save money and make my dollar stretch beyond expectations for any project.
My house is clean, the dishes are done….now it’s time to make something pretty!
